About the role As a support pedagogue, you will work together with your colleagues in direct work with the users. Additionally, you will drive and apply Nytida's framework for pedagogy and contribute to the design of personal pedagogy for the users. This is to support the users in utilizing their cognitive and social abilities, strengthen their self-esteem, and enable a health-promoting life by acting as a role model and motivating them towards wellness. Together with other staff, you will work towards making the day meaningful and rich in content, perform care-related tasks, ensure pleasant premises, and participate in activities with the users. You will also guide and support staff in social documentation and implementation plans, mentor new employees, and collaborate with the unit/operations manager in development projects. You will report to the group leader in the operation. Becoming a manager can also be a future career opportunity for you. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call shifts.

About Långenäsvägen

At our LSS group home Långenäsvägen in Karlstad, you should feel safe and involved. We want to give you the opportunity to develop as a person, and our work is based on your wishes, needs, and conditions. We run the operation in collaboration with Karlstad municipality, which has the right to all places.

At Långenäsvägen, there are 6 people who are granted assistance under LSS 9§9, housing with special services.

Your experience and knowledge You are an educated support pedagogue from a vocational college or have relevant university education. You have good computer skills, experience in documentation, and good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Additional requirements include experience working with the LSS target group.

As a person, you have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people. You are responsible, meticulous, and enjoy working in a team. You are happy to share your experiences and support colleagues in pedagogy, documentation, and interaction.
